Apple May Launch Massive Foldable iPad with 5G Next Year

We've been hearing about foldable phones day by day. But what about folded tablets

A 5G is said to be developed by Apple but there no timelines when it will launch.

According to IHS Markit analyst, Jeff Lin Apple is working on a new flagship iPad with a host of new features.

Apple may be planning to join Huawei and Samsung in launching a foldable smart device. A foldable iPad also supports 5G connectivity. It works as Apple is highly anticipated to enter the 5G market. The size of the iPad is almost a MacBook Sized screen, which allows the user to folding the iPad from the center to convert into a phablet.

The Display Size of the foldable 5G iPad is similarly sized to a MacBook Pro. (That's maybe 13 inches or 15 inches). The Current iPad Pro is 11 inches and 12.9.

This tablet will also have 5G capabilities. A new feature that we are yet to seen even on iPhones. That is a bit little confusing. As Apple would rather work on 5G developments on their top-selling iPhones

That said, we have to emphasize that this is a rumor; we've heard nothing from Apple on this matter. And since Apple has yet to announce concrete plans for a foldable or 5G phone, it's not clear that we should be holding our breaths for an iPad with those features. 

That said, if there's one company that does a tablet well, it's Apple. Apple's 9.7-inch iPad and 12.9-inch iPad Pro are two of our favorite overall tablets, with powerful A10 Fusion processors, long battery life and high-quality cameras. We'll certainly welcome a foldable, 5G addition to the lineup -- but we'd be surprised if it comes in 2020.
